Hindustan Dorr Oliver went down by 78% today !!! Record date for sub-division of the shares (1:5 ratio) is Jun 02, 2006. The share price is down to 155 rupees. Strictly a no-buy. Any reasons ??

Today was the ex-date. Sometimes there is a difference of greater than the usual 2-3 days, between the record and the ex-date. Hind Dorr Oliver is one such case, ITC is another that comes to my mind. I am sure, no one would have lost anything because of this, but a decline in the adj. share price (adjusted for the split, ie).

want to invest in a stock for more than 15 years. that stock should be a child right now which we can predict to become a giant reliance or infosys in future.
i want to know a stock in the range of 20 to 200 which will give me 10000 times return after 15 years..

i think the stock should have low equity.
should come up on the bases of its fundamental.
apart from RPL and RNRL. i have those to stocks in my portfolio
i am holding sanghvi movers from 2000. bought 200 shares at 16rs and now its 790 rs. and still holding till 1500 rs and then bonus and then again 1500 rs and then bonus and split and soon.

Below are some stocks which i have researched and discussed with my friends.I find them attractive from a time frame of five years.What do you opine about them.
first ------- tera software currently at 120..
second------- savera hotels currently at 62
third ------- ecoboard india currently at 15
forth------- EIH and EIH asscoiates both are good currently at 700 and 198.
I think all these stocks are great picks at current levels.
also i think dlink is a great stock to buy at current levels (Rs. 96)
