Liberty. REALTY. Equity.

It's been for a month now ... my dad has been harrowing me with "What's with your stocks ... do property ... it will pay you better". I kinda cant argue with him - given some amazing statistics he's been sharing with me over the last few weeks.

So here's the deal ... please email me some good (and very good) property investments in cities around India from an investment viewpoint (and short term 1.5-2 yrs). Feel free to let me know about residential, commercial, plots etc. But read the billboard again - investments only !!!

Here are my 2 paisa!!:
In Chennai:-
1. Invest in the IT corridor (Perungudi, Sirusalem and Taramani area) . Good apartments and mini townships coming up and the demand is high. The demand (not speculative, but genuine demand) will go up once the 6 laning of the IT corridor, which is currently in progress, is completed. Infact, i'm looking out for a good place to buy (to stay) though i already own an apartment in Chennai.

2. Invest in land (as opposed to apartments) in the area near Ford plant in Maraimalainagar on the national highway. Triggers - Mahindra Township, Infosys (125 acres land with plans for a seating capacity of 25,000), BMW plant. Connectivity to Sriperumbadur (Hyundai, HM, TCS, Nokia plant) and connectivity to IT corridor. In 2000, A 2400 Sq feet plot near the Ford plant was available for 15,000 bucks. Now the same is selling for more than 300,000 bucks . I still feel that value will go up.

Connectivity - Very good. Connected by Suburban rail as well as the 6 lane National Highway. Another plus - Just 15 to 20 minutes from Chennai airport.

As for the title of the blog, i rather like "Equity" !!

There is one upcoming magarpatta city in pune.About this you can search on the google......it seems to be awesome.....my friends both working in IBM pune centre booked one 2 bedroom flat each for rs 18 lacs in november .....now the new revised rates are 21 lacs......also i think from investement point of view you can consider greater noida.....there are many things that have to come up in gnoida.....although the land price is very high in greater noida and a sq metre of land costs 24000/- means for a modest 200sq mts you need to shell out 48 lacs oops......... yaar but please dont leave us alone in this stock market......we really like and value your suggestions and analysis......

You want to earn money? Learn "margin trading" in property. It exists and it's the best way to make your 2 lacs into 5 lacs in a matter of 4 months.
